TRAIL TIPS MARCH - Wait to ride your favorite trail until the ground has thawed. Water becomes trapped on the surface in pools, and promotes channeling and erosion. Try early morning rides when everything is frozen solid. APRIL - Now's the time for yearly maintenance - get those rigs out of the garage and check the chain and cables first. Next make sure your brake pads still have some life (if it has worn past the groove in the pad it's time for a replacement). If you don't know what to look for, contact us or your local bike shop. |
